Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: MD/DNB (General Medicine/Internal Medicine/General Pediatric)
- Indian Citizen
- Minimum Qualifying Criteria: UR-50th Percentile, BC/EBC/EWS–45th Percentile, SC/ST-40th Percentile
Salary / Stipend
- Pay Scale: As Per Institute Rule
- In addition to Pay + NPA, other allowances will be admissible as per rule
- HRA is admissible if accommodation is not provided
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
- Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 Years
- Age Relaxation for EBC/BC: 3 Years
- Age Relaxation for Female Candidates: 3 Years

- Specialized Training: 10 marks
- Project (Extra/Intramural): 10 marks

General Information / Instructions
- Reservation benefit applicable to Bihar State Domicile candidates only
- Physically Handicapped candidates given reservation benefit as per Govt. of Bihar Rule
- Appointment is on Ad-hoc basis for 89 days or till full-time (3-year tenure) recruitment is completed
- Stay in campus is compulsory; if accommodation not provided, HRA is admissible
- Private Practice of any kind is strictly prohibited
- No TA/DA admissible for attending the interview
- Merit selection does not guarantee appointment; final appointment decision rests with Director
- Candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government Department must submit NOC from employer
- SC/ST candidates must attach Caste Certificate issued by Circle Officer of respective District/Circle of Bihar
- EBC/MBC candidates must attach Caste Certificate and Certificate of exemption from Creamy Layer
- Canvassing in any form is a disqualification
