Candidates must fulfill the minimum qualifications and parameters specified by IIA:

Educational Qualification

  • Essential Qualification: A Bachelor's degree from a recognized University/Institution with knowledge of use of personal computer and its applications (MS Office).

Job Description

  • Handling matters of Establishment, Administration, Stores & Purchase, and Accounts & Finance.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the Controlling Officer / Reporting Officer from time to time.

Age Limit & Other Conditions

Maximum Age: Not exceeding 27 years as on the closing date for submission of online application. Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms.

Pension: All appointees will be governed by the National Pension System (NPS) as notified by the Government of India.

Posting: Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India and at any of the Institute's field stations and locations.

IIA Selection Methodology

The selection process for the Upper Division Clerk post is as follows:

  1. Initial Screening: Applications will be screened based on essential qualifications. The Institute reserves the right to limit candidates called for the written test based on higher qualifications if a large number of applications are received.
  2. Written Test: The written test will cover the following subjects:
    • English Language and Comprehension
    • Logical Reasoning & Computer Proficiency
    • General Awareness and Current Affairs
    • Numerical Ability (Arithmetic)
    • FR-SR, General Financial Rules, Income Tax, GST Rules, Accountancy, Procurement of Goods and Services, GeM Rules and Procedures, Leave Rules, Central Public Procurement Portal, Contract Management, Inventory Management, Procurement Manuals, Import of Goods, etc.
  3. Skill Test: Professional competence/skill test (qualifying in nature; marks count only in case of a tie).
  4. Venue: Written test and/or skill test will be held at Bengaluru only.
