Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc. degree in Chemistry as the minimum educational qualification.
- Candidates having research experience in National labs, Institutes, Universities or Industry will be preferred.
- Incumbent is expected to assist in maintenance and operation of NMR spectrometers in the NMR Laboratory.
Salary / Stipend
- Consolidated emoluments of Rs. 25,000/- per month.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 35 years as on the date of Walk-in interviews.
- Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualifications and/or experience may be considered for candidates having qualification and experience higher than the advertised, with prior approval of the competent authority.

Selection Process
- Walk-in interview.
- Number of posts may vary depending upon the requirements during the selection process.
- Where the number of candidates appearing for walk-in interview is large, the number of candidates to be considered for interview may be restricted to a reasonable limit based on qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement, as per Screening Committee recommendations.
- In case a selected candidate does not join or resigns after joining the post, waitlisted candidates may be offered the position.
General Information / Instructions
- The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation.
- The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment or absorption in IISER Pune.
- The prescribed date for determining the upper age limit, educational qualifications or experience shall be the date of walk-in interview.
- The prescribed educational qualification should have been obtained from recognized Universities or Institutions.
- The prescribed educational qualifications and/or experience are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be considered in each stage of the selection process.
- It will be in the interest of the candidates to mention all qualifications and experience in the application.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
- No interim enquiries, correspondence or communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter.
- Bringing any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.

- In case of any ambiguity on account of interpretation between the English and other language versions of the advertisement, contents in the English version shall be final.
