Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees with three years of relevant experience or Ph.D.
- Essential Qualification: First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees with three years of relevant experience or Ph.D.
- Desirable Qualification: Academic or professional background in Health and Technology; experience in interdisciplinary research involving material science, nanobioengineering, optoelectronic device development, and 3D printing; prior involvement in projects under organizations such as ICMR, AIIMS, NHM, CTD, or NACO, or other scientific and technical departments with exposure to project management; strong scientific writing and communication skills; proficiency in computer applications, data analysis, and research management tools; strong publication record and patents preferred.
- Experience: Three years of relevant experience for candidates with First Class Post Graduate Degree.
Salary / Stipend
- Fixed stipend/fellowship/salary amount of Rs. 67000 (+ 20% HRA) per month as per the ICMR norm.
- ICMR sponsored project with total project duration of 3 years; current requirement for 1 year, extendable based on performance.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 40 years.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per GoI rules.

General Information / Instructions
- The post of Project Research Scientist II (NM) is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- The project is an ICMR sponsored project titled “Development of Innovative Diagnostics of Fungal Diseases in India: Addressing a Neglected Public Health Concern”.
- All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GoI rules.
- The duration is 1 year (initial requirement), extendable based on performance, with total project duration of 3 years.
