Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Any ONE of the following)
- Option 1: PhD degree with First Class or equivalent grade in Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
- Option 2: M.Tech (Master of Technology) with First Class or equivalent grade in Water Resources, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Option 3: M.Sc (Master of Science) in Science or Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in water resources/environmental projects
Experience Requirements
- For M.Sc candidates: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in water resources, environmental management, or related field
- For M.Tech candidates: Fresh or experienced candidates can apply
- For PhD candidates: Fresh or experienced candidates can apply
- Experience in climate change, vulnerability assessment, water resources management is preferred

- Must be an Indian national

Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on climate change impacts and vulnerability assessment for water resources in India
- Analyze climate change scenarios and their effects on water availability and demand
- Assess vulnerability of water resources systems to climate variability and change
- Develop and evaluate adaptation strategies for water resources management under climate change
- Conduct field surveys and data collection for vulnerability assessments
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling of climate and water resource data
- Prepare technical reports and research papers for UNFCCC communication
- Collaborate with other team members and external stakeholders on project activities
- Contribute to policy recommendations for climate-resilient water resources management
- Assist in preparing project deliverables and documentation as required
- Participate in project meetings and progress reviews
- Any other task assigned by the Principal Investigator or project management
