Eligibility Criteria

• A PhD in physics with a specialization in gravitational physics.
• Candidates who have submitted their dissertations are also eligible to apply.
• A solid background in the computational and numerical methods used in general relativity and black hole physics is desired.
• Experience in studying geodesics, analyzing black hole shadows, and related topics is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Mathematica/Python (or any suitable programming language) for mathematical calculations.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Independent-minded and capable of driving research into uncharted territory.

Salary/Stipend

• Remuneration: 58,000 INR monthly (+ HRA).
• Duration: Two-year appointment.
