Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Three-year Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
- Preferred Experience: Candidates having prior field experience in areas such as building maintenance, preparation of technical estimates, tender preparation, and other site-related works will be given preference.

Selection Process

General Information/ Instructions
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Three-year Diplomas as referred above are those which have been awarded by a recognized University/Institution.
- The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all the applicants without assigning any reason thereof, and also to re-advertise the same if no suitable candidates are found. The decision of the Institute will be final and binding in this regard.
- Govt. / PSU employee to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the present employer at the time of certificate verification, or else an UNDERTAKING by the candidates must be submitted.
- Any dispute with regard to the selection/recruitment process will be subject to the Courts/tribunals having jurisdiction over Guwahati.
- Candidates will not have any claim for a regular appointment in the Institute on the strength of this temporary appointment.
- These are purely temporary posts under contractual appointment. The contract period will be for one year (11 months initial) and can be extended based on satisfactory performance and the requirements of the Institute (may be extended for another 2 terms of 11 months each).
