Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Physics / Engineering Physics / Applied Physics / Photonics / Photonics Engineering / Optics / Quantum Technology / Biomedical Engineering with 60% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA or equivalent marks
- Qualified in at least one of the following: CSIR-UGC NET (JRF/LS) / GATE / DBT-BET / INSPIRE Fellowship / Any other national-level fellowship (recognized by DST / DBT / UGC / CSIR).
- Desirable Experience: Quantum optics and photonics / Lasers and nonlinear optics / Optical instrumentation and precision alignment / Interferometry and photodetection / Data acquisition and control systems; Scientific programming (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW) / Image processing and computational imaging / Machine learning and AI for scientific applications / Microscopy and bio-imaging / FPGA, embedded systems, or instrumentation electronics.
- Additional Desirable Qualification (but not essential): M. Tech. / M. E. (or equivalent) in Physics / Engineering Physics / Applied Physics / Photonics / Photonics Engineering / Optics / Quantum Technology / Biomedical Engineering with 60% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA or equivalent marks.
