Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be Indian nationals applying for a project position under the consultancy/research project in the ECE Department, IIT Roorkee.
- Essential qualification: B.E./B.Tech in ECE/EEE/EIE with valid GATE/NET qualification OR M.E./M.Tech (GATE/NET qualified) in Electronics and Communication Engineering and related areas.
- Job involves research work including mathematical analysis, modelling and design in industry‑standard integrated circuit technology for back‑end electronics SoC for laser range finder.
- Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
Salary/Stipend
- Emoluments: Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA as per JRF norms of IIT Roorkee.
- The fellowship is for a duration of 2 years under the DRDO‑sponsored project.
Selection Process
- Screening of applications received by email with required documents by the Principal Investigator.
- Walk‑in (offline) interview for eligible applicants on 09 December 2025 at 10:30 AM in Room S‑319, E&CE Department, IIT Roorkee.
- Candidates are responsible for ensuring eligibility and carrying required documents; selection is based on performance in the interview.
- Selected candidate may get an opportunity for Ph.D. admission, as noted in the advertisement.

- Include details of experience such as research, industrial field and other relevant work.
