Eligibility Criteria for IIT Roorkee Junior Research Fellow 2026

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• M. Tech in ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) with specialization in Signal Processing, Communication Systems or equivalent with CGPA ≥ 8.0 (Out of 10)
• OR B.E. / B. Tech in ECE (Electrical Engineering) with CGPA ≥ 7.5 (Out of 10)

2. GATE/CSIR-UGC NET Qualification

In addition, the candidate (General or OBC) must have qualified GATE/CSIR-UGC NET examination.

3. Nationality
