Code 102: Trade Apprentice (Fitter) - Mechanical Discipline
- Matriculation (10th Pass) with ITI in Fitter Trade of minimum 2 years duration with Pass class
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Code 103: Trade Apprentice (Boiler) - Mechanical Discipline
- 3-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Code 105: Technician Apprentice (Mechanical)
- 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Board/University
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
Code 106: Technician Apprentice (Electrical)
- 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Important Eligibility Notes
- Candidates must have already passed the prescribed qualification as on the date of reckoning eligibility criteria
- Only regular full-time courses recognized by recognized boards/universities are considered
- No candidates whose results are awaited can apply
- CGPA/OGPA must be converted to equivalent percentage as per university norms
- No part-time, correspondence, or distance education qualifications accepted
- Candidates with higher qualifications (BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, MCA, LLB) or pursuing higher education are NOT eligible
- Candidates must not have completed more than 5 years after acquiring prescribed qualification (as on 31-01-2026)
- Engineering/Diploma graduates with 1+ year job experience are NOT eligible
- No Equivalent qualifications accepted
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years (as on 31-01-2026) for General/EWS candidates
- Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years additional (max 29 years)
- Age Relaxation for OBC(NCL): 3 years additional (max 27 years)
- Age Relaxation for PwBD: 10 years additional (irrespective of category)
- Age Proof: Marksheet/Certificate from Board of Secondary Education for Class X is the only acceptable document

STEP I: Register on NAPS/NATS Portal and Apply for Opportunities
For Codes 102, 103 & 109 (Register on NAPS Portal):
- Visit NAPS Portal: https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
- Select "Apprenticeship Opportunities" from top menu
- In search column: Select location as "IOCL Mathura Refinery" and select the respective trade
- This will prompt you to login with basic details
- Follow the portal steps and complete registration
For Codes 105, 106 & 107 (Register on NATS Portal):
- Visit NATS Portal: https://nats.education.gov.in
- Complete registration after successful login

Stipend & Benefits
- Stipend: As per Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and IOCL guidelines

- Company Accommodation/HRA: Not provided
- Leave Entitlement: 32 days general leave (8 days per quarter), 12 days casual leave per calendar year

Reservation & Concessions

- PwBD category has horizontal reservation across notified seats in identified trades
