Vacancy Details - Trade-wise Positions

Eligibility Criteria - Trade-wise

Code 102: Trade Apprentice (Fitter) - Mechanical Discipline

• Matriculation (10th Pass) with ITI in Fitter Trade of minimum 2 years duration with Pass class
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Code 103: Trade Apprentice (Boiler) - Mechanical Discipline

• 3-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Code 105: Technician Apprentice (Mechanical)

• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Board/University
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Code 106: Technician Apprentice (Electrical)

• 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Code 107: Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation)

• 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering OR Instrumentation & Electronics OR Instrumentation & Control Engineering OR Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Code 109: Trade Apprentice (Accountant)

• 3-year Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from recognized University
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Important Eligibility Notes

• Candidates must have already passed the prescribed qualification as on the date of reckoning eligibility criteria
• Only regular full-time courses recognized by recognized boards/universities are considered
• No candidates whose results are awaited can apply
• CGPA/OGPA must be converted to equivalent percentage as per university norms
• No part-time, correspondence, or distance education qualifications accepted
• Candidates with higher qualifications (BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, MCA, LLB) or pursuing higher education are NOT eligible
• Candidates must not have completed more than 5 years after acquiring prescribed qualification (as on 31-01-2026)
• Engineering/Diploma graduates with 1+ year job experience are NOT eligible
• No Equivalent qualifications accepted

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years (as on 31-01-2026) for General/EWS candidates
• Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years additional (max 29 years)
• Age Relaxation for OBC(NCL): 3 years additional (max 27 years)
• Age Relaxation for PwBD: 10 years additional (irrespective of category)
• Age Proof: Marksheet/Certificate from Board of Secondary Education for Class X is the only acceptable document

How to Apply - Step-by-Step Process

STEP I: Register on NAPS/NATS Portal and Apply for Opportunities

For Codes 102, 103 & 109 (Register on NAPS Portal):

1. Visit NAPS Portal: https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
2. Select "Apprenticeship Opportunities" from top menu
3. In search column: Select location as "IOCL Mathura Refinery" and select the respective trade
4. This will prompt you to login with basic details
5. Follow the portal steps and complete registration

For Codes 105, 106 & 107 (Register on NATS Portal):

1. Visit NATS Portal: https://nats.education.gov.in
2. Complete registration after successful login
3. Apply to the advertisement notified by IOCL Mathura Refinery from your dashboard

STEP II: Fill Additional Details on Google Forms (MANDATORY)

Important Instructions for Applicants

• Only online applications through NAPS/NATS portal will be accepted
• Update your profile on NAPS/NATS portal 100% correctly before applying
• Use same email ID and mobile number for both NAPS/NATS and Google Form
• Email ID and mobile number must remain valid for entire apprenticeship period
• Candidates can apply for only ONE trade/discipline of their choice
• Do not apply for multiple trades as applications will be rejected
• Ensure profile has correct aggregate percentage as per university conversion norms
• No hard copy submission required
• All communication will be through website/email/SMS alerts only

Documents Required at Verification

• Degree/Diploma/ITI Certificate (Provisional or Convocation Degree Certificate only)
• Class X (Matriculation) Certificate for age proof
• NAPS/NATS Registration Number and Enrollment Number
• Experience Certificates (if any) - issued by Head of Department/Office on official letterhead
• Disability Certificate for PwBD candidates (certified by competent authority as per Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016)
• Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates) issued by competent authority
• One Photo ID proof in ORIGINAL (Aadhaar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport)

Stipend & Benefits

• Stipend: As per Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and IOCL guidelines
• Personal Protective Equipment: Safety shoes & Helmet (returnable) for Codes 102, 103, 105, 106, 107
• Company Accommodation/HRA: Not provided
• Leave Entitlement: 32 days general leave (8 days per quarter), 12 days casual leave per calendar year
• Holidays: As observed in the establishment
• Insurance Coverage: Accident Insurance provided
• Discipline: Subject to Certified Standing Orders applicable to workmen at the establishment

Reservation & Concessions

• Reservation for SC, ST, OBC(NCL), PwBD & EWS as per numbers indicated
• If reserved seats cannot be filled from respective categories, seats will be filled in priority order: SC/ST → OBC → UR
• PwBD category has horizontal reservation across notified seats in identified trades
• PwBD candidates for Codes 102, 105, 106, 107, 109 only (not for Code 103)
• PwBD must be capable of performing assigned tasks
• Benchmark disability must be certified as per Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016
