Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Master of Arts (M.A.) in Philosophy or Sanskrit from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, internet).
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of Buddhist texts and Buddhist philosophy.
- Familiarity with Vaibhāṣika school of Buddhist philosophy.
- Knowledge of Sanskrit language and ability to read Sanskrit texts.
- Experience in translation work or research writing.
- NET (National Eligibility Test) qualification (not essential).
Preference Criteria
- Candidates who can read and understand Sanskrit texts.
- Candidates capable of translating Sanskrit texts into English.
- Those with prior research experience in Indian philosophy.
Job Profile & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on Vaibhāṣika Darśana (Buddhist philosophical school).
- Assist in translating texts related to Vaibhāṣika philosophy between Bengali and English as per project requirements.
- Carry out literature review and compilation on Buddhist philosophy.
- Support project documentation and research writing.
- Collaborate with project supervisor and research team.
- Prepare research materials and academic content.
- Assist in organizing project-related seminars or academic events.
