These posts were advertised vide Notification No. 03 of 2021 and Notification No. 04 of 2022, Item Nos. 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 185, 186, 189, 190, 592, 593, 594, 605 and 606. This notice is a shortlist for the Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET), also called the Walk Test it is not the final selection list. - Open the notice titled for shortlisting of candidates for PST/PET for Inspector (FPF), Wildlife Guard, FPF Guard, Field Assistant and Social Forestry Worker.
- Identify the annexure that corresponds to the post you applied for (A to G as listed above).
- Use Ctrl+F (or the search function in your PDF reader) to search for your roll number or name.
- Download and save the PDF, or note your roll number's presence, for your records.
- If your application was for more than one post, also check Annexure "F" to confirm your applications have been clubbed correctly.
Documents Required for JKSSB PST/PET 2026
- Admit Card for the PST/PET
- One original photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, or equivalent)
- One copy of supporting proof for any PST/PET deficiency related to eligibility, if applicable
Important Instructions
- Being shortlisted for the PST/PET does not confer any right to final selection. Candidates must still fulfil all prescribed eligibility conditions, and the Board's decision is final.
- The PST/PET is of a qualifying nature only.
- Candidates who fail to appear for the PST/PET on the given date and time will forfeit their right to be considered at further stages of selection.
- Candidates must report to the JKSSB office Muthi, Akhnoor Road, Jammu, or Zam Zam Complex, Rambagh, Srinagar between 10 August 2026 and 14 August 2026, during office hours, in case of any deficiency with reference to eligibility.
- Candidates whose applications for more than one post have been clubbed under Annexure "F" must report any discrepancy in clubbing during the same window (10–14 August 2026). Requests made after this period will not be entertained.
- Any candidate found indulging in impersonation, making false statements, suppressing material information, or resorting to unfair means will be liable for criminal prosecution, debarment from recruitment, and cancellation of candidature.
- Requests for a change of PST/PET venue received after the stipulated date/time will not be entertained.
