Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualifications: Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) or Degree from recognized University with internship
• Experience: 5 years

Salary/Stipend

• Rs. 37,500/- per month

Age Limit (as on last date of application)

• Not Exceeding 70 yrs

General Information/Instructions

• Homeopathic consultant will be engaged by Central Staff Benefit Fund Committee/M.Rly/Kol. under the aegis of CSBF and not by the Railways, hence, engaged Homeopathic consultant shall not be considered as a Railway Employee
• The engagement of Homeopathic consultant is liable to be terminated any time prior to the contract period with one month's notice
• The engaged practitioner shall be paid a consolidated honorarium of Rs.37,500/- P.M (Rupees Thirty Seven Thousand and Five Hundred only) from Central Staff Benefit Fund/Medicine clinic at Homeopathic Dispensary
• The engaged Practitioner shall be required to work in Clinic at Homeopathic Dispensary which will be kept open for 4 hrs a day (1100hrs to 1500hrs) on all working days
• The engaged Practitioner shall be required to work in Clinic at Homeopathic Dispensary/Metro Bhavan & Noapara which will be kept open for 4 hrs a day (1100hrs to 1500hrs) on all working days from Monday to Saturday. It will be closed on weekly holidays and other Gazetted holidays
• Since the Homeopathic Consultant purely engaged on contractual basis will not be treated as Railway Employee for any purpose shall not be eligible for any Indian Railway privileges, such as, Transport Allowance, Dearness Allowance, House Rent allowance, Railway Quarters, Passes/PTO, Leaves and Medical Facilities etc
• The engaged practitioner, not a Railway Doctor, shall not be allowed to issue any sick and fit certificate in favour of sub Railway Employees. Private practice shall be permitted but without hampering the normal day in the Railway
• Services of engaged Practitioner shall be terminated upon reaching the age of 70 yrs. or after the completion of period of engagement whichever is earlier. Even prior to these, services can be terminated on 14 days notice on either side
• PCSBF shall not be bound to assign any reason for such termination and this power may be exercised by the Chairman/SBF Committee/Metro Railway/Kol and the Practitioner will have no right to challenge a contractual engagement in any court of Law
• If it is a qualified candidate does not have rights to seek appointment in Railways and will not be entitled to be absorbed in regular service
• The Administration is not responsible for any postal delay and belated applications will not be entertained under any circumstance
• Furnishing of false and/or incomplete information shall lead to rejection of the application
• Mode of Engagement: Assessment of Suitability and Interview through the framed Committee. Shortlisted candidate will be informed about the interview through e-mail/Message
