Eligibility Criteria & Job Requirements
Candidates must fulfill the minimum qualifications and parameters as specified in the Employment Notice:
Educational Qualification & Language
- Core Education: Bachelor's degree of Arts (BA) or Bachelor's of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent thereto from a recognized university.
- Matriculation: Must have passed the matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the subjects.
- Computer Skills: Must have proficiency in operation of computers.
Age Limit & Field Specifications
Age: Candidates must be between 18 to 37 years of age as on January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per instructions of the Hon'ble High Court and Punjab Government.
Domicile: Only EWS, Scheduled Caste, BC/OBC, Ex-Serviceman, and Freedom Fighter candidates of Punjab domicile are eligible for reservation benefits. All reserve category candidates must attach a valid category certificate issued by the competent authority, failing which they will be considered under the General Category.

The evaluation process is conducted manually through a written examination followed by a skill test:
- Written Examination: Candidates will appear in a written test consisting of two subjects — English Composition (50 marks, 33% qualifying) and General Knowledge (50 marks, 33% qualifying). A minimum aggregate score of 40% is required for appointment consideration.
- Computer Proficiency Test: Shortlisted candidates (up to 10 times the number of vacancies, based on written test merit list) will be called for a Computer Proficiency Test covering Word Processing and Spreadsheet.
