• Relevant Post Qualification Experience: At least 2 years (for Degree holders) and 4 years (for Diploma holders) experience of Designing Railway Signalling Drawings with Project Management Consultants or General Consultant or Construction Agency and/or with Signalling Contractors for Electronic/Relay Interlocking and/or with OEMs of Electronic Interlocking system either individually or combined.
• Designing Railway Signalling: Includes preparation of Signal Interlocking Plan, Selection Table, Circuit Diagrams or any other drawings related to Railway Signalling.
• Candidates having software skills such as Auto CAD and MS Office shall be preferred.

3. Age Limit

• The candidate should have sound health and must undergo medical examination before joining, producing a certificate of fitness for job issued by a Doctor (at least MBBS).
• Selected candidates will have to serve the Corporation for at least two years and execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 1 Lakh on Rs. 500/- stamp paper in favour of Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. to serve the Company for two years.
• Candidates must bring original application and original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies in proof of photo identity, age, caste, educational qualification (with mark sheets of all semesters of Degree) and experience on the date of document verification and interaction.
• Incomplete or vague educational qualification will be treated as invalid and such applications are liable to be rejected.
• If any document / certificate / information is found incorrect or false at any stage, the contractual service will be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason or prior notice, besides possible legal action.
• The Corporation reserves the right to cancel / restrict / curtail / enlarge the contract engagement process without any prior notice and without assigning any reasons.
• No train/bus fare/TA/DA shall be payable by the Corporation to the candidates for appearing for document verification and interaction.
• The selected candidates should be able to join at the project site within a maximum of 45 days after issuance of offer of appointment by MRVC; deviations will be dealt with on a case-to-case basis.
• The candidates selected under this contract will not have any right to claim permanent absorption in MRVC and must provide an undertaking to this effect.
• The Corporation reserves the right to terminate the contract with one month notice or payment in lieu thereof; similarly, the appointee must give one month notice to resign from the contract.
• Selected candidates shall attend emergencies and other calls of duties during their day-to-day activities as demanded and expected.
• In case of undesirable activities such as embezzlement, unlawful activities, unauthorized absence, insubordination or breach of contract terms, the contractual appointment shall be terminated in addition to possible civil/criminal proceedings.
• Selected candidates shall use electronic resources of MRVC strictly as per policies and guidelines; misuse of electronic resources and putting the Corporation at risk may result in termination of employment and legal action.

Salary/Stipend

• IDA Equivalent E1 grade: Rs. 40,000–1,40,000.
• Basic Pay: Rs. 40,000/- per month.
• Pay and perks include Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Cafeteria of Allowances, House Rent Allowance, Consolidated Travelling Allowance, Provident Fund (employer's share) etc.
• Other entitlements like mobile phone, laptop, sodexo etc. are as per the policy of the Corporation.
• Pay protection will be given to candidates working in IDA E1 grade in Railway/Railway PSUs as Drawing & Design Engineer (S&T) or equivalent.
• PF, Income Tax and any other incidental recovery will be deducted from Gross Salary as per extant rules.
• Medical facility will be provided as per the policy of the Corporation.
• Leave benefits include 8 days Casual Leave per annum, 2 days Restricted Holidays per annum, 10 days sick leave for six months (like Half Pay Leave with provision for commutation) and 12 days special leave per annum.
