According to the notice, the original advertisement for the post of Vidyut Sahayak under Advt. No. 06/2023 was published on 29 December 2023, and the online aptitude test was conducted between 20 and 22 May 2025.

• The selection list and detailed instructions for the Vidyut Sahayak post were published on the company website on 30 July 2025.
• The zonewise list of selected candidates was published in August 2025, and document verification for these candidates was carried out between 20 and 22 August 2025.
• After document verification, eligible candidates were issued appointments in their allotted zones.
• A wait list was subsequently published on 31 October 2025, and eligible candidates from that list were also given appointments.

Why This New Wait List Notice Was Issued

As per point 4 of the notice, MSEDCL reviewed cases of ineligibility and absenteeism among candidates from the previously published wait list. Taking into account social parallel/backup reservation vacancies within the company's rules, a zonewise wait list has now been attached, limited to 50% of the advertised posts for each category. Verification of online application entries and eligibility-related certificates for candidates in this list will be conducted by the respective zonal office between 30 July 2026 and 31 July 2026.

Required Documents for Verification

As per point 11 of the notice, candidates must appear for verification with original documents along with one self-attested photocopy of each of the following, as applicable:

1. System-generated application online form (candidates who do not have a copy of their online application will be provided one at the verification venue)
2. SSC mark sheet and certificate
3. ITI certificate (Electrician/Wireman) / Centre of Excellence (Electrical Sector) certificate and National Trade Certificate, etc.
4. Caste certificate
5. Caste validity certificate (candidates without a validity certificate must submit the documents listed in the annexure regarding pending validity)
6. Certificate issued by a competent authority in support of parallel reservation (all relevant certificates must be submitted if more than one parallel reservation was claimed in the online application)
7. Domicile certificate
8. Non-creamy layer certificate issued by a competent authority (applicable to categories other than SC, ST, and Open)
9. All certificates supporting the details/information entered by the candidate in the online application

Additionally, as per point 9 of the notice, candidates must bring an original and one photocopy of a valid identity proof, such as Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or Election Commission Voter ID Card.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates must be present at the designated zonal office on the specified date and time for document verification.
• If a candidate does not report on the specified date at the specified zone for verification, their candidature will be treated as cancelled, and no further correspondence or consideration of their application will take place.
• Selection does not confer any right to appointment. Only after scrutiny of documents/certificates and confirmation of eligibility will the appointing authority process the appointment.
• Candidates must travel to the verification venue at their own expense; no travel allowance or fare reimbursement will be provided.
