NCL ITI Trade Apprentice DV Schedule 2026 - Fitter Revised List, Dates, Documents & Venue

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna Company and a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), has released the Document Verification (DV) schedule for candidates who applied for ITI Trade Apprentice engagement through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) Portal for the financial year 2026-27. NCL has also issued a corrigendum revising the shortlisted candidates list for the Fitter trade. NCL Document Verification Notice: What Happened

NCL first issued Notice No. NCL/HRD/CETI/2026-27/302 dated 07.07.2026, calling ITI Trade Apprentice candidates for document verification across nine trades. On 08.07.2026, NCL issued a follow-up notice stating that the previously published shortlisted candidates list for the Fitter trade contained an inadvertent error. An updated shortlisted candidates list for Fitter has been issued and supersedes the earlier list.

Candidates applying for the Fitter trade are advised to refer only to the updated shortlisted candidates list (Annexure) for document verification. The scheduled dates, serial number ranges, and venue for Fitter trade DV remain the same as originally notified. Candidates for the other eight trades should continue to follow the original 07.07.2026 notice.

This notice applies only to candidates who applied for ITI Trade Apprentice positions through the NAPS Portal, under the following trades:

• ITI Electrician
• ITI Fitter
• ITI Welder
• ITI Turner
• ITI Machinist
• ITI Auto Electrician
• ITI Diesel Mechanic
• ITI Motor Mechanic Vehicle
• ITI Computer Operator and Programming Assistant

NCL Document Verification Schedule 2026 (Trade-wise and Serial Number-wise)

The serial number-wise list of candidates required to appear for document verification is enclosed as Annexure-I with the official notice. Candidates should check their serial number in the official PDF on the NCL website rather than relying on secondary sources.

Documents Required for NCL Document Verification

Candidates must carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies:

1. Printout of the online application submitted through the NAPS Portal
2. Matriculation (10th) Certificate/Marksheet (as proof of date of birth)
3. Marksheets and Certificates of the qualifying ITI
4. Valid Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL), EWS Certificate and PwBD Certificate, wherever applicable
5. Aadhaar Card
6. PAN Card
7. Two recent passport-size photographs
8. Aadhaar-linked Bank Passbook copy
9. One set of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents
10. Any other document required to establish eligibility as prescribed in the original Notification

Important Instructions

• This notice is applicable only to candidates who applied for ITI Trade Apprentice positions through the NAPS Portal.
• This is only a call for document verification and not the final merit list or selection list.
• Candidates are being called for document verification to ascertain their eligibility as per the terms and conditions of the Notification.
• The final merit list will be prepared and published only after completion of document verification and eligibility verification, subject to fulfilment of all conditions prescribed in the Notification.
• Mere attendance at document verification does not guarantee engagement as an Apprentice Trainee.
• Candidates must produce all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Failure to produce the requisite documents, or any discrepancy found during verification, may lead to cancellation of candidature.
• No TA/DA (Travelling Allowance/Dearness Allowance) shall be admissible for attending the document verification.
• Fitter trade candidates must refer only to the updated shortlisted candidates list dated 08.07.2026 and disregard the earlier published list.
