Eligibility Criteria
- Senior Consultant (Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction): Master Degree in the field of Social Science/ Science/ Disaster Management/ Two years PG Diploma in Disaster Management. Desirable: M.Phil or Ph.D in a relevant field. For Retired: experience of 5 years in Scale 11 (as per Seventh CPC).
- Senior Consultant (Mitigation of Floods): Master's degree in Water Resources Management, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, Disaster Management or any other disciplines related to Flood Management. Desirable: A research degree (M.Phil./Ph.D.) in Water Resource Management/ Hydrology. For Retired: matching education and experience with grade pay of INR 7,600/ or more.
- Senior Consultant (Disaster Risk Financing and Financial Management): Master's Degree/MBA in Economics, Finance from a recognized university. Desirable: PHD in concerned subject and Prior experience of working with Financial and Insurance Products for Disaster Management. For Retired: matching education and experience with grade pay of INR 7,600/ or more.
- Senior Consultant (Technical Expert – Recovery Programmes (Productive/Livelihoods sectors)): A Master's Degree in Disaster Management, Economics, Public Policy, Livelihood, Agriculture, Rural Development or Social Entrepreneurship. Desirable: An advanced degree, such as a Ph.D. in a related discipline. For Retired: grade Pay in PB-13 and above with experience of more than 10 years.
- Senior Consultant (Technical Expert - Recovery Programmes (Structural-Social and Public Infrastructure sector)): Master's degree in Disaster Management/ Architecture/ Structural/ Civil Engineering/ Electrical engineering/ or Master's degree in urban planning/ Housing/ Rural Planning with bachelor's in architecture/ civil engineering. Desirable: An advanced degree, such as a Ph.D. in a related discipline. For Retired: grade Pay of Rs.8700 (pre-revised) / Level - 13 (7th CPC) and above with minimum experience of 5 years.
