NFSU Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Professor - School of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics: Ph.D. in relevant discipline with first class or equivalent (minimum 60% or equivalent) at the preceding degree i.e. M.Sc./MCA/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Security/Cyber Security/ Digital Forensics/Cyber-Forensics/Network Technology /Information-Technology/ Data-Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ IoT Security or relevant discipline from recognized university or equivalent with very good academic record throughout. Desirable: experience in Cyber Security and one SCI Journal publication.
- Assistant Professor - School of Forensic Sciences: Ph.D. in relevant discipline with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (minimum 60% or equivalent) i.e. M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialization in the appropriate field i.e. Forensic (Physics/ Ballistics/ Biology/Chemistry/Toxicology/Fingerprint/Questioned Document) OR First class or equivalent Master Degree in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Human-Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Genetics/ Molecular Biology or any other relevant discipline from recognized university or equivalent with very good academic record throughout. Desirable: experience in Forensic Science and one SCI Journal publication.
- Assistant Professor - School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies: A good academic record, A master's degree with 60% marks (or equivalent grade) with Ph.D. in a concerned /relevant /allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University. Preference shall be given to Ph.D. Holders/candidates with Ph.D. registration/Net-JRF. Specialization in Cyber Law and/or Public Law. Publication in Scopus or Web of Science and experience in prior teaching would add weightage.
