Eligibility Criteria

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E) in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related areas from a recognized University/Institute.
  • GATE qualification is mandatory; OR cleared National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments/agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (M.Tech/M.E) in Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related areas from a recognized University/Institute.

For Project Associate I (PA I)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E) in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related areas from a recognized University/Institute.
  • GATE qualification is not required for PAI position.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (M.Tech/M.E) in Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related areas from a recognized University/Institute.

General Eligibility (Both Posts)

  • Applicant must be an Indian national.
  • Degree must be from a recognized University/Institute.

Project Title MEMS Based Pumped Liquid Cooling Loop for Cooling High Heat Flux Dissipating Components

Project Objective Development and design of MEMS based pumped liquid cooling loop technology to efficiently cool high heat flux dissipating components in space applications and related thermal management systems.
Project Duration Up to end of project as determined by ISRO (position initially for nine months, extendable based on performance and fund availability).

Salary & Benefits

For Junior Research Fellow 

Component Amount
Basic Consolidated Pay INR 37,000/- per month

For Project Associate I 

Component Amount
Basic Consolidated Pay INR 31,000/- per month

Duration of Engagement

  • Initial engagement: Nine months from the date of joining.
  • Extension: May be extended up to the end of the project depending on performance and availability of funds.
