Eligibility Criteria
- PGTs: Two years integrated post-Graduate course with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC Candidate in the respective subjects) OR Master Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC Candidate in the respective subjects & Bachelor degree in education (a course prescribed by NCTE) & affiliated to recognized university. Proficiency in teaching both in English & Odia medium and knowledge of computer application is desirable.
- TGTs: Four years integrated bachelor Degree course of regional college of Education of NCERT in the concerned subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC Candidate) OR Bachelor's Degree in arts & science in the concerned subjects with 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC Candidate) along with a degree in Bachelor in Education (a course prescribed by the NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University. Proficiency in teaching both in English & Odia medium and knowledge of computer application is desirable.

- Age Relaxation: In the absence of suitable candidates with B. ED degrees, candidates with the following qualifications may be considered:

- TGTs: B.Sc. with 60% marks and B.A. with 55% marks may be considered for appointment on a part-time contractual basis if suitable candidates with B.Ed. are not available.
