Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification (Essential):
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
- Post-qualification Experience:
- Minimum 25 years of post-qualification experience in planning, execution and management of infrastructure projects including Metro Rail/Urban Rail/MRTS projects in Metro Rail Corporations, CPSEs/PSUs or Central/State Government organizations.
- Out of the total experience, at least 08 years of experience must be in Metro planning and construction.
- Minimum Eligibility (Present Grade/Service) (for serving officials including those on deputation holding substantively):
- Posts in analogous grade i.e. Level-15 (CDA) / E-9 (IDA); OR
- Posts in Level-14 (CDA) with at least 25 years of Group ‘A’ service; OR
- Posts in IDA E-8 (Rs. 1,20,000–2,80,000/-) with at least four years of service in that grade.
- Physical & Medical Fitness:
- Applicant should be physically and medically fit.
- In case of selection, candidate will have to undergo medical examination as per the corporation’s policy.
Salary/Stipend
- Scale of Pay: IDA E-9 (Rs. 1,50,000–3,00,000/-).
- The pay and emoluments shall be as per the IDA pay scale applicable from time to time.
- Other admissible benefits include perks, lease/HRA, medical benefits, EPF, gratuity, Performance Related Pay (PRP) etc., in accordance with the extant rules of the company.
Age Limit (as on 13-02-2026)
- Age: Not above 57 years.
- Note: Cut-off date for age and eligibility is reckoned as on the closing date of vacancy notice (13-02-2026).
