Selection / Appointment Method
The posts will be filled on deputation basis from eligible officers/officials working in Central/State Government Departments/Organisations as per the eligibility conditions laid down in the vacancy circular.
- Deputation governed by DoPT O.M. No. 2/29/91-Estt(Pay-II) dated 05-01-1994 and No. 6/8/2009-Estt(Pay-II) dated 17-06-2010, as amended from time to time.
- Maximum deputation period ordinarily not exceeding 3 years (2 years for MTS).

- Eligible and willing officers should apply in the prescribed Bio-data/Curriculum Vitae Proforma (Annexure-I) enclosed with the vacancy circular.
- Applications must be forwarded through proper channel by the concerned office/department along with required certificates.
- The complete application should reach the Office of the Competent Authority, SAFEM(FOP)A & NDPSA, Shastri Bhawan, New Building Complex (4th Floor), No. 26, Haddows Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai - 600 006 on or before 30-04-2026.
Documents to be enclosed:
- Duly filled Bio-data/Proforma (Annexure-I) signed by the applicant.
- Attested photocopies of ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years.
- Integrity Certificate and Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- Certificate that no major/minor penalty has been imposed during the last 10 years.
