Eligibility Criteria
- Specialist: MBBS with PG Diploma / PG Degree in relevant speciality.
- GDMO: MBBS.
- Must be registered with Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council (SMC) and possess valid practitioner licence.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.
- Retired doctors from SAIL / other PSUs / Govt. departments fulfilling criteria are eligible (except those separated through VRS).

Walk-In Procedure
Candidates who wish to attend the walk-in interview for Bhilai Steel Plant Consultant Recruitment 2026 should follow the steps below.
- Read the official notification carefully before attending the interview.
- Walk-in Interview will be conducted on 26 February 2026 at Human Resource Development Centre (Near BSP Main Gate), Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai – 490001.
- Reporting time: 09:30 AM (Document verification between 09:30 AM to 12:00 Noon).
- Interview will start from 10:30 AM onwards.
- Carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies (educational certificates, registration certificates, experience certificates, category certificate if applicable, photo ID proof, address proof, etc.).
- Bring the duly filled application form (Annexure-I) along with 2 recent passport-size colour photographs.
- Verify eligibility criteria before attending the interview.
- Candidates are advised to reach the venue well in advance to complete registration formalities.
- No TA/DA will be provided.
