Eligibility Criteria

• PGT (Computer Science):
  • M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or MCA from a recognized institution/university with at least 50% marks OR M.E./M.Tech. (Computer Science/IT) with at least 50% marks.
  • B.Ed. degree from NCTE recognized institution/university with at least 50% marks OR three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution/university with at least 50% marks OR four years integrated degree including B.Ed. component with at least 50% marks.
  • Desirable: Minimum 5 years teaching experience in residential English medium public school; proficiency in spoken and written English.
• TGT (Science):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics or Chemistry or both as a major subject) along with B.Ed. degree with aggregate 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree from recognized university.
  • Qualified in CTET.
  • Medium of instruction – English.
  • Desirable: Minimum 5 years teaching experience in residential English medium public school; proficiency in spoken and written English.
• TGT (Computer Science):
  • BCA with at least 50% marks OR Graduation in Computer Science/IT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in aggregate (Computer Science as main subject in all years) OR BE/B.Tech. (Computer Science/IT) with at least 50% marks.
  • Qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by CBSE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education from NCTE recognized institution/university with at least 50% marks OR three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. OR four years integrated degree including B.Ed. component with at least 50% marks.
  • Desirable: Minimum 5 years teaching experience in residential English medium public school; proficiency in spoken and written English.
• TGT (English):
  • Bachelor’s degree in English along with B.Ed. degree with aggregate 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree from recognized university.
  • Qualified in CTET.
  • Medium of instruction – English.
  • Desirable: Minimum 5 years teaching experience in residential English medium public school.
• Art and Craft Teacher:
  • Five years recognized diploma in any discipline of Fine Arts (Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts/Crafts) after passing Class XII OR five years recognized diploma in Fine Arts after Class X OR Degree in Fine Arts/Crafts from a recognized University OR B.Ed. degree in Fine Arts from a recognized university.
  • Desirable: B.Ed.; experience in a residential school as Art/Craft Teacher; proficiency in games and co-curricular activities; knowledge of computer application.
• Music Teacher:
  • Graduate in Music from a recognized university OR Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with degree or diploma in Music from institution recognized by State/Central Government.
  • Desirable: Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major Course at AEC Training College & Centre Pachmarhi or equivalent Naval/Air Force courses.
• Ward Boy:
  • Matriculation or equivalent examination and ability to converse in English and Hindi.
  • Essential: Candidates with experience as Hostel Warden and proficiency in sports will be preferred.
  • Desirable: BA/B.Sc./B.Com degree (higher qualifications preferred); proficiency in sports; Ex-servicemen and those with Sainik School/residential school experience preferred.

Salary/Stipend

• PGT (Computer Science): Rs. 76,000/- per month consolidated; accommodation and food in Cadet’s Mess as applicable.
• TGT (Science), TGT (Computer Science), TGT (English): Rs. 66,000/- per month consolidated; accommodation and food in Cadet’s Mess as applicable.
• Art and Craft Teacher: Rs. 36,000/- per month consolidated; accommodation and food in Cadet’s Mess as applicable.
• Music Teacher: Rs. 36,000/- per month consolidated; accommodation and food in Cadet’s Mess as applicable.
• Ward Boy: Rs. 19,000/- per month consolidated; accommodation and food in Cadet’s Mess as applicable.

• PGT (Computer Science): 21 to 40 years.
• TGT (Science): 21 to 35 years.
• TGT (Computer Science): 21 to 35 years.
• TGT (English): 21 to 35 years.
• Art and Craft Teacher: 21 to 40 years.

• Ward Boy: 18 to 40 years.

Application Fee

• Application Fee (Non-refundable): Rs. 500/- for General/OBC category candidates.
• Application Fee (Non-refundable): Rs. 250/- for SC/ST category candidates.
• Fee must be paid through Demand Draft in favour of “Sainik School Chittorgarh”, payable at Chittorgarh, enclosed with the application form.

Selection Process

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for selection tests comprising Written Test and Class Demonstration/Proficiency/Skill Test.
• List of shortlisted candidates will be published on the School’s website https://sschittorgarh.edu.in/.
• Call letters will be issued to eligible shortlisted candidates by Registered Post/Speed Post/email.
• The school administration reserves the right to increase/decrease/cancel the vacancies due to administrative/policy reasons.

General Information/Instructions

• Posts are on contractual basis for one year and this is not a Central/State Government job/service.
• Applications received after the last date (07 Feb 2026) will not be entertained and the school will not be responsible for any postal delay.
• Incomplete application forms and non-submission of required documents will result in rejection without communication.
• Applications are not to be sent by email/fax; such applications will not be entertained.
