Duties
- Yoga instructors must hold at least 32 yoga sessions a month, of minimum one hour each, at Health and Wellness Centres, schools and community level.
- A Yoga Instructor (Female) must hold 20 classes of minimum one hour per session for women's groups.

Yoga Assistant (Male/Female)
- High School or Intermediate, followed by a minimum three-month certificate course in Yoga.
- Three years' experience of work in a Naturopathy clinic/hospital or Yoga centre.
Yoga Instructor (Female and Male)
Any one of the following:
- B.A. (Yoga) three-year degree holder / M.Sc. (Yoga) / M.A. (Yoga), with one year's experience.
- PG Diploma (minimum one-year course) holder, with two years' experience.
- Yoga Wellness Instructor certificate holder from the Yoga Certification Board, New Delhi.
Experience counts only if it was gained after passing the prescribed degree or PG Diploma. Local candidates will be given preference for the Yoga Instructor post.

Selection Process
Selection is through an interview. The office will contact candidates separately, and the details will be pasted on the office notice board, where they can be seen on any working day. No travel allowance is payable for attending. The appointing authority has the final say on whether an application is suitable.
Service Conditions
- The appointment is for one year. Any further period will be decided by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
- Services may be ended with one month's notice if they are not found satisfactory.
- Selected candidates must take charge at the Ayushman Arogya Mandir Health and Wellness Centre within 15 days, or the engagement ends automatically.
- Character verification will be carried out. After an adverse finding, the contracting authority will cancel the engagement without giving any reason.
- Absence from duty for more than one week without information will lead to cancellation of the engagement.
