Essential qualification: Master's Degree in Physics or a related discipline with a minimum 60% marks.
Alternative essential qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with a minimum 65% marks.
Desirable qualification (Physics route): M.Sc. coursework with courses on atomic physics and quantum optics.

Four-year experience in a related field: Rs. 42,000 + HRA.
Eight-year experience in a related field: Rs. 49,000 + HRA.

The positions are under the National Quantum Mission Project titled "Field deployable quantum enhanced hybrid sensor with integrated photonic platform" in the Department of Nuclear and Atomic Physics, TIFR Mumbai.
The appointment is temporary for a period of two year with a possibility of extension for three more years, subject to satisfactory performance.
