Eligibility Criteria

• Pipe Fitter: Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter/ Plumber / Sanitary Fitter OR Courses with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSFQ) level equivalent to ITI in the trade of Fitter/Plumber/ Sanitary Fitter. Minimum two years post qualification experience in Shipyard or Engineering Company or Private Company or Government Company or Establishment / Semi-Government Company or Establishment in fabrication and erection of Pipe Spools, knowledge in pipe testing, types of Valves, Flushing Activities, welding practice. Desirable: Experience in using bending machine, shearing machine, hydraulic presses.
• Welder: Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Welder OR Courses with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSFQ) level equivalent to ITI in the trade of Welder. Minimum two years post qualification experience in Gas cutting and welding (gas, manual, automatic, MIG/ semi-automatic special welding), gouging, gas, flame heating, chipping and grinding, staging and handling, General awareness on Welding Standards in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Government Company or Private Company or Establishment or Semi-Government Company or Establishment.
• Electrician: Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Electrician/Wireman/Electronic Mechanical OR Courses with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSFQ) level equivalent to ITI in the trade of Electrician/Wireman/Electronic Mechanical. Minimum two years post qualification experience as technician looking after the operation of Substation, installation of HT/LT switchgears, transformers, maintenance of electrical equipment's, Knowledge in understanding the electrical layouts, SLD and Wiring Standards in a Ship Building Company or Ship Repair company or Engineering Company or Private Company or Electricity generation/transmission/ Distribution company.
• Machinery Fitter: Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter/ Deisel Mechanic/ Machinist/Instrument Mechanic OR Courses with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSFQ) level equivalent to ITI in the trade of Fitter/ Deisel Mechanic/ Machinist/Instrument Mechanic. Minimum two years post qualification experience in a Shipyard or Engineering Company or Private Company. Experience in operating Machine Tools like Lathes, Milling Machine, Turning Machine etc. Experience in bearing replacement, Shaft alignment, coupling Fitting, Understanding machinery drawings. Experience in Erection, repair and maintenance of pumps, generators, compressors, engines, auxiliaries etc.

• The maximum age limit for all posts is 30 years.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules:
  • OBC: 3 years
  • SC: 5 years
  • ST: 5 years
  • Ex-servicemen: As per Govt. of India guidelines, max 40 years

Salary / Stipend

• Pay Scale: W4 (Rs. 17000-3%-61020)
• Monthly Salary Structure:
  • Basic: Rs. 17,000
  • DA (At present 54.1%): Rs. 9,197
  • HRA (10%): Rs. 1,700
  • Fuel reimbursement: Rs. 1,600
  • Washing Allowance: Rs. 500
  • Total Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 29,997
