UKMSSB Health Worker Female ANM Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Mandatory): Candidates must have successfully completed the Basic Health Worker Female (ANM) Training Course as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi from time to time (which includes 6 months of midwifery training).
Registration (Mandatory): Candidates must possess a valid/renewed registration certificate with Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council, Dehradun up to the last date of online application. Registration certificates issued after the last date of online application will not be accepted.
Desirable Qualification (Adhimani Arhat): In case of equal marks, preference will be given to candidates who have: (a) served in the Provincial Army for at least two years, or (b) obtained NCC 'B' Certificate.
Domicile / Residence Requirement (Mandatory): Candidates must hold an Uttarakhand State Domicile/Permanent Resident Certificate up to the last date of online application. The following categories are also eligible: (a) Candidates who have passed High School and Intermediate or equivalent examinations from recognized institutions in Uttarakhand state; (b) Personnel serving in Armed Forces/Para-Military Forces and regular employees of State/Central Government organizations stationed in Uttarakhand whose services cannot be transferred outside Uttarakhand, and their spouses and children.
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

UKMSSB Health Worker Female ANM Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection for UKMSSB Swasthya Karyakarta Mahila Recruitment 2026 will be based on the following:
Merit List: The Board will prepare a district-wise merit list (batch-wise seniority order) based on the aggregate marks obtained by candidates in the Basic Health Worker Female (ANM) Training Course. In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks, the candidate with desirable qualification will be given priority; if still equal, the older candidate will be given priority; if age is also equal, the candidate whose name comes first in English alphabetical order will be given priority.
Document Verification (Abhilekh Satpyan): Document verification is tentatively planned for May–June 2026. Admit cards/call letters for document verification will be made available for download on the Board's official website www.ukmssb.org. Candidates cannot participate in document verification without the admit card.
Medical Examination: Candidates selected for appointment must undergo a medical examination before joining as per applicable rules.

Candidates must select all 13 district options in order of preference while filling the online application form. Filling all 13 district preferences is mandatory. No amendment or change in district preferences will be allowed after final submission of the online application form. How to Apply for UKMSSB Health Worker Female ANM Recruitment 2026
Eligible candidates for UKMSSB Swasthya Karyakarta Mahila Recruitment 2026 must submit their application online through the official website ukmssb.org within the specified last date. The online application process has three steps:
Step 1 – Registration: Visit the Board's website www.ukmssb.org and click on "Apply Now." Then click on "Candidate, Register Here" to complete the registration. A valid email ID and mobile number are required for registration. Upload scanned passport size photo (max 50 KB, JPG) and signature (max 50 KB, JPG).
Step 2 – Application Submission: Login with your Registration Number and Password. Click on "Health Worker (FEMALE) Examination-2025" and proceed. Fill all required details including personal information, educational qualifications (enter total marks obtained in all semesters/years of ANM course), category, sub-category, district preference in order of priority, and upload the combined PDF of all required documents. Carefully review all entries before proceeding.
Step 3 – Final Submission & Fee Payment: After thoroughly checking all entries, click "I Agree" and submit the application. Then pay the applicable application fee online via Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card before the last date of 04 May 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). After payment, download and keep a copy of the final submitted application form for future reference.
Amendment/Correction Window: After the final submission of the application, a one-time amendment/correction window will be available from 06 May 2026 to 09 May 2026 (up to 5:00 PM) for making changes in name, date of birth, category/sub-category, gender, etc. (except mobile number and email ID). The final Edited Data will be considered valid. No further requests for amendment will be entertained by the Board after this window closes.
Note: Offline/hard copy applications will not be accepted. Incomplete online applications will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to apply only after fully satisfying themselves that they meet all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the advertisement. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease.
UKMSSB Health Worker Female ANM Recruitment 2026 – Important Instructions
Candidates must possess all required educational qualifications, caste certificates, horizontal reservation certificates and other documents by the last date of online application (04 May 2026).
Certificates issued after the last date will not be accepted. For OBC reservation, the certificate must not be older than three years from the last date of application submission and must be valid as per Govt. Order dated 26-02-2016.
EWS certificates for financial year 2024-25 and 2025-26 will be valid. Reservation benefits are available only to permanent residents of Uttarakhand. Since the Health Worker (Female) post is 100% reserved for female candidates, Uttarakhand Women's Horizontal Reservation has not been calculated separately. Disability (Divyang) reservation has not been identified for this post as per Uttarakhand government orders dated 25-03-2011 and 05-06-2023.
Candidates must mention their vertical and horizontal reservation category/sub-category in the online application; failing to claim reservation in the application will result in the candidate not being given any reservation benefit.
