Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Forestry) Medicinal & Aromatic Plants/ Wood Science Technology / Forest Products and Utilization / Allied sciences. The candidate must have qualified NET/SET.
- Desirable Qualification: Ph. D. Medicinal & Aromatic Plants/ Wood Science Technology / Forest Products and Utilization /Allied Science.
- Candidates with teaching experience in concerned subjects /courses at college / university level will be preferred.
Salary / Stipend
- Rs. 1,000/- per lecture.
- Maximum of Rs. 3,000/- per day.
- Maximum Rs. 42,000/- per month.
- Credit load for different courses can be 1+1, 2+1, 2+0, 3+0, 0+1 and 0+2 etc. per week depending upon the course contents.
Selection Process
- Walk-in Interview.
- Candidates should appear before the interview committee with all original documents and one set of self-attested copies of the certificates.
General Information / Instructions
- The engagement will be purely on lecture basis for the 2nd Semester of Academic Session 2025-26 to teach undergraduate and post graduate courses.
- The credit load to be assigned to a lecture based teacher will be determined on the basis of availability of number of courses in the particular subject.
- No separate letter for interview will be issued.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- The applicants will have no right to claim for their regularization.
- The College has reserves all rights to cancel/ not to fill the above vacancies at any point of time without assigning any reason.
How to Apply
- Appear for Walk-in Interview on 04th February, 2026 (Wednesday) at 11.00 AM onwards.
- Appear in the office of the undersigned (Dean, College of Horticulture and Forestry, Neri, Hamirpur) with all original documents and one set of self-attested copies of the certificates.
