Assam Rifles Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 544
Name of the Posts:
1. Constable (GD) in CAPFS
2. Riflemen (GD) in Assam Rifles
I. Recruitment Rally at Manipur: 244 posts
II. Recruitment Rally at Nagaland: 300 posts
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 23 years as on 01-08-2013. Upper age is relaxable by 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC/ST Candidates.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized board/university.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.50/- payable through SBI Challan through Power Jyoti Account No, 32611562834 at SBI, Laitkor Branch, Shillong, Code No – 13883. Fee paid by SBI Challan will be submitted along with the application.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical standard test, written test, Physical Efficiency Test.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can submit their filled application form/ admit cards as per the proforma given in notification at the PST/PET centers mentioned in the notification on relevant dates.

Reporting Date for Guidance-cum-training: 22-04-2013 to 21-05-2013
Reporting Date at PST & PET centers: 27-05-2013 to 31-05-2013

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Matric or 10th class pass with Diploma/ITI, English, Math & Science with Physics/ Biology, Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.50 + Rs.25 as (application fee + Bank Charges) payable through SBI Challan through Power Jyoti Account No, 32611562834 at SBI, Laitkor Branch, Shillong, Code No – 13883. Fee paid by SBI Challan will be submitted alongwith the application.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test, Physical Efficiency Test.
How to Apply: Candidates have to apply in prescribed format as attached in the notification. Fill the form, affix photograph, attach copies of necessary documents, DD and by super scribing as “Application For Technical Trades Rally At Kohima/ Shillong” must be sent to Directorate General Assam Rifles (Recruitment Branch), Laitkor Post, Shillong, Meghalaya - 793010 on or before 14-05-2013.

Sir, I am retired sub Inspector from ITBP. My son is a diploma holder in electrician, computer literacy, having working experience as electrician/plumber, having 2, 3 & 4 wheeler driving licence like to apply, but his age is few months higher. His date of birth is 4-10-1990 can he fill the form?

As per the notification candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 23 years of age as on 01-08-2012 in order to apply for the post of Technical Trades in Assam Rifles Recruitment.
