CDS Selection Procedure – Combined Defence Services Selection Procedure: union service public commission – upsc conducts cds (combined defence services) examination twice in a year for admissions into Indian military academy, Indian navel academy, Air force academy and officers training academy. The candidates who are eligible apply through online and offline application mode. CDS Selection Procedure details given below.
The upsc cds competitive examination comprises in 2 stages.
1) Written examination
2) Interview/Intelligence Test
1. A.Written examination: The written examination conducts for the admission of Indian military academy ,Indian navel academy,Airforce academy ,Admission officers .3 subjects consists in written examination .All the question papers will be given in English and Hindi objective type except English subject. Time duration 2hrs and maximum marks for each subject 100, English, General Knowledge, Elementary mathematics subjects for Indian military academy, naval academy, Air force academy.
B. English, General knowledge subjects conducts for admission to officers training academy each subject, maximum marks 100 and time duration 2hrs.
In written examination and to the Interviews will be given maximum marks equal for each course, marks allotted for both tests they carries 300 for first 3 courses and 200 each for admission to Indian military academy, Indian navel academy, Air force academy and officers training academy.
2) Interview/personality test: This Interview is nothing but Intelligence test about his interest and social traits, basic knowledge essential for this job. The candidates who are selected in written test are called for interview. There will be group discussions, intelligence tests, outdoor grouptask, group planning, physical fitness test, interview, small lectures on general issues.
The selected candidates must be physically and medically fit according to physical standards for admission to combined defence services examination. The selected candidates get admitted in their various vacancies.

ota course will commence only in april, so the likely ssb dates be on december or january, so xpct the call letter before that
How will the selected candidates come to know about the interview dates ??? Will UPSC send some letter to them ??
