South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2013 – Walk in for Medical Practitioner Vacancies: South Eastern Railway has issued notification for filling up of 16 “Contract Medical Practitioners” on full time contract basis. Eligible candidates can walk in for interview on 25-02-2013, 01-03-2013, 06-03-2013 & 07-03-2013. Name of the Posts: Medical Practitioner

1. Pathologist
2. Anesthetist
3. Orthopedic Surgeon
4. Ophthalmologist
5. General Duty
Age Limit: Candidates age must not exceed 50 years, 65 years in case of retired Railway Doctors as on 01-01-203. Age Relaxations will be extended as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess MBBS/ MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Pathology/ Orthopedics/ Ophthalmology.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates have to attend for walk in with an application (Format of application can be obtained from the ‘News & Updates’ page on www.ser.indianrailways.gov.in or one hour before the scheduled time of the interview) along with all certificates/mark sheets/testimonials including Caste certificate(if any) IN Original and true attested copies and also two passport size photographs at below mentioned places.

As per the notification vacancies under Sports quota i.e in Kabaddi game are only reserved for Women Candidates in South Eastern Railway and the last date to apply is already over.
I have played kho kho for state level can i apply?

As per the notification candidates who have relevant Sports certificate in the following sports Table Tennis,Archery(Women),Rifle Shooting, Athletics(men), Water Polo(men),Football(men), Body Building,Kabaddi(women),Volley ball(women),Power lifting(women),Chess are only eligible for the vacancies in South Eastern Railway.

As per the notification minimum educational qualification for Sports quota Vacancies in South Eastern Railway recruitment are 10th pass or ITI for the posts with Grade pay 1800/1900/2000 and Graduation for the posts with Grade Pay 2400/2800/4200.

As per the notification the scouting/ Guiding means Should have been an active member of a Scout Organization for at least 03 (Three) years in the recent past and should continue to be active, Pre-HWB trained Scout Leader/Advanced trained Guide/Leader/Captain, Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level.
I have done graduation and 3 years diploma in Modern Office Practice,and have NCC certificate. Can i apply for this post.

As per the notification the candidates who Matriculation or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate and Passed out Act Apprenticeship/ITI. Certificate of Act Apprenticeship/ ITI must be approved by SCVT/NCVT along with Scouting/ Guiding Qualification are eligible to apply for Group-d posts. The candidates who completed 10th pass or ITI or equivalent with Scouting/ Guiding Qualification are eligible to apply for the posts in SER.

The tentative exam date for the post of the Group-D posts is 15/12/2012 and the exam date for Group-C posts is 22/12/2012.

As per the notification the last date to apply for the vacancies in South eastern railway is 06/08/2012. you can not apply for it now.

As per the notification, the candidates who got selected will have to undergo training wherever training is prescribed for the post.

The notification against recruitment of various vacancies in Group C for Candidates are eligible Indian nationals who come under the definition of Persons with Disabilities can apply for posts in south Eastern Railways.
What about the vacancy for normal category at degee/diploma level and graduates in Indian Railway.
