Eligibility Criteria
- Research Officer (Non-Medical): PhD in Clinical Psychology/Social Work/Social Science/Psychology, OR Postgraduate degree in the above disciplines with three years’ experience; preferred experience in addictive disorders and/or epidemiological surveys.
- Research Assistant: 1st Class Master’s Degree in Social Work/Social Science/Psychology, with preference for experience in addictive disorders or epidemiological surveys.
- MTS + DEO: Three-year Graduate Degree in a related subject/field; preference to those with experience of working at AIIMS, New Delhi.
- Statistical Officer: PhD in Statistics/Population Sciences/Biostatistics/Health Statistics, OR MPhil/MSc/MA in Statistics/Maths with three years’ relevant experience; preference for experience in addictive disorders and epidemiological surveys.
- Statistician: 1st Class Master’s Degree in Statistics/Population Sciences/Biostatistics/Health Statistics, OR Graduate Degree in the above discipline with minimum five years’ experience; preference for experience in addictive disorders and epidemiological surveys.
- Candidates must satisfy upper age limits (28–40 years as per post) with relaxations allowed as per Government of India rules.
Age Limit
- As on: Date of walk-in interview (20-12-2025).
- Research Officer & Statistical Officer: Maximum 40 years (relaxation as per Government rules).
- Research Assistant: Maximum 35 years (relaxation as per Government rules).
- Statistician: Maximum 30 years (relaxation as per Government rules).
- MTS + DEO: Maximum 28 years (relaxation as per Government rules).
Salary/Stipend
- Research Officer (Non-Medical) and Statistical Officer receive Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA as admissible under ICMR/AIIMS norms.
- Statistician receives Rs. 32,000 per month; Research Assistant receives Rs. 31,000 per month.
- MTS + DEO receives Rs. 18,000 per month plus HRA (as applicable).
- All remunerations are per month and follow ICMR/AIIMS project guidelines, with duty station at AIIMS Delhi (Ghaziabad) / AIIMS New Delhi.

Selection Process
- Selection will be through a walk-in interview conducted on 20 December 2025 at the Board Room, National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre, NDDTC, AIIMS, Sector-19, Kamla Nehru Nagar, C.G.O. Complex, Ghaziabad.
- Candidates must report at 10:30 AM and bring self‑attested CV, original certificates, one self‑attested set of photocopies, and two passport-size photographs.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview; attempts at canvassing or correspondence will lead to disqualification.
- Appointments are purely contractual and temporary for the project duration (about 24 months).
