Research Work and Duties
The fellow will work in the research group of Dr. Akhil Sivan. The group designs and synthesises heterocyclic compounds and also works on multi-component reactions, fluorescent materials and photochemical transformations. This work is used in fluorescent sensing and medicinal chemistry.
The selected candidate will:
- develop new organic fluorophores

- combine experimental and computational methods to understand structure–property relationships
