A&N Administration Combined Matric Level Examination 2026 - Selection Process
The selection process consists of Tier-I (Tablet Based Test – TBT Online Examination), followed by Tier-II (Physical Standard Examination / Physical Measurement and Endurance Test / Skill / Trade Test – qualifying in nature, where applicable), and Document Verification. Shortlisting for document verification will be based on merit in the TBT examination in the respective category. The Tier-II Physical/Skill/Trade Test is only of qualifying nature and will not add to the merit score. Final selection is based on Tier-I TBT marks. Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 mark. Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. All questions are of MCQ type. Questions at Sl. No. I, II, and IV will be set in English and Hindi languages only. The TBT will be conducted in multiple shifts at centres in South Andaman, North & Middle Andaman, and Nicobar Districts. Entry gates close half an hour before examination commencement. Candidates must report at least 1.5 hours before exam start time. Tie resolution: (1) Date of birth - older candidate gets preference; (2) Alphabetical order of first names.
