AP High Court Selection Process 2026

The AP High Court Selection Process 2026 includes two stages:

Stage 1: Computer Based Examination

  • Section Officer: General Knowledge (20 Marks) + Mental Ability (10 Marks) + Law Civil/Criminal (50 Marks) = 80 Marks
  • All Other Degree Posts: General Knowledge (40 Marks) + Mental Ability (40 Marks) = 80 Marks
  • Office Subordinate: General Knowledge (50 Marks) + Mental Ability (30 Marks) = 80 Marks
  • Total Questions: 80 (Each 1 mark)
  • Duration: 90 Minutes
  • Language: English and Telugu (English version final)
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% (OC/EWS), 35% (BC), 30% (SC/ST/PwBD)

Stage 2: Skill Test (For Selected Posts Only)

  • Applicable for: Senior System Officer, Computer Operator, U.D. Stenographer, Stenographer, Typist, Copyist, Data Entry Operator
  • Computer Based Examination marks used for screening only (not added to final merit)
  • Final selection based ONLY on Skill Test performance

Merit List Preparation

  • For Senior System Officer, Computer Operator, U.D. Stenographer, Stenographer, Typist, Copyist, DEO: Merit based ONLY on Skill Test marks
  • Tie-breaker: Age (elder first) → Higher educational qualification → Highest marks in prescribed qualification
  • Score normalization for multi-shift examinations will be applied
