Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualifications (ARI-003): First Class in M.Sc. Botany/M.Sc. Complexity Science.
- Essential Qualifications (ARI-016): First Class in M.Sc. Botany/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology.
- Desirable (ARI-003): Specialization in plant identification.
- Desirable (ARI-003): Experience in field work in Western Ghats, Herbarium preparation, Digitization, and Management.
- Desirable (ARI-016): Specialization in plant identification.
- Desirable (ARI-016): Experience in field work in Western Ghats and Biochemistry and Molecular works.
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly stipend: ₹20,000 + HRA (As applicable) for the post of Project Assistant.
Age Limit
- Maximum age limit: 50 years as on closing date of advertisement.
- Age relaxation will be applicable for OBC, SC, ST etc. categories according to Govt. of India regulations.

- Non-refundable application fee of ₹100/- (except SC/ST/Divyang/Women Candidates).

Selection Process
- Shortlisting of candidates based on essential and desirable qualifications and/or experience as per the requirements mentioned in the advertisement.
- The Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit through a shortlisting process based on a well-defined criterion.
- The candidate has the option to appear for the interview in Hindi language as well.
- No T.A. is admissible for attending the offline interview.
- The selected candidate will have no right for appointment against any ARI or funding agency’s post/s.
General Information/Instructions
- The positions/requirements are purely on contractual basis.
- The selected candidates may be assigned to another project based on institutional requirement.
- The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
- The consideration of qualifications as equivalent to the essential and desirable qualifications shall be at the discretion of the relevant committee constituted for scrutinizing the applications.
- If the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large, the Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit.
- The Institute is not responsible for any incomplete/pending/failed transactions of online application fee payments; candidates may contact the concerned bank in this regard.
