Posts, Eligibility and Pay

• Who can apply: Retired Professors from the Universities.
• Qualification: The minimum qualifications shall be as per UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2018.
• Preference: Mere fulfilment of minimum qualifications does not confer any right to engagement. Higher qualification and/or academic/research achievements may be preferred.
• Age limit: Retired Professors should not have attained the age of 70 years on the closing date of application. The notice does not mention any age relaxation.
• Cut-off for qualification and experience: Counted as on the last date of the application form.
