Educational Qualification (from a recognised university)

• Master's degree in Hindi with English as a subject at graduation level; OR
• Master's degree in English with Hindi as a subject at graduation level; OR
• Master's degree in both Hindi and English; OR
• Bachelor's degree with English and Hindi as main subjects.

Experience

At least 02 years of English-Hindi and Hindi-English translation experience is essential.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 35 years as on 30/10/2026, as per the rules of the BHEL Fixed Tenure Appointment (FTA) policy. Relaxation in the maximum age limit is as per the existing rules of the Government of India and BHEL:

Pay and Tenure

• Tenure: appointment for 2 years or till completion of the work, whichever is earlier.
• The appointment is purely on a temporary basis for the initial two years or till completion of the work (whichever is earlier).
• Either side must give one month's notice to end the appointment.
• Working hours: at most eight (8) hours a day and six (6) days a week, as per the unit's fixed working days.
• Leave: one day of leave for every 20 days of work.
• Medical benefit, accident insurance and accommodation: payable as per the applicable BHEL FTA policy/guidelines and Corporate Office directions.

Selection Process

Selection is through an interview of eligible candidates.

• The interview will be held at BHEL CFP Rudrapur in the first week of December 2026.
• If more than 10 applications are received, applications will be screened on the merit of total marks obtained in graduation, and at most 10 candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
• If two candidates have equal marks at graduation level, the candidate with higher marks in the Hindi subject will be given preference.
• Applicants who meet the prescribed criteria will be called to BHEL Rudrapur, and the information will be sent separately by email.
• Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the interview.

• No relaxation will be given in health standards under the clinical/medical joining norms. The selected candidate must show a medical fitness certificate from an authorised medical officer in the prescribed format.
