BHU Junior Research Fellow Eligibility Criteria 2026
- NET (including lectureship) or GATE qualified
- M.Sc. degree in Botany / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/Applied Microbiology / Microbiology / Environmental Science / with at least 55% marks.
- Experience of having worked with plants, plant tissue culture, plant transformation, and molecular biology techniques (such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, genetic analysis, genotyping, phenotyping, protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions etc) is desirable.
BHU Junior Research Fellow Salary 2026
- For the first two years (JRF): Rs. 37,000 per month with 20% HRA.
- For the third year (SRF): Rs. 42,000 per month with 20% HRA.
