BSEB has started the online application process for the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha (Competency Test) 5th Phase 2026 for teachers working under local bodies in the state. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode, and applications are being accepted from 31 December 2025 to 9 January 2026
What is BSEB Sakshamta Pariksha 5th Phase?

This is a competency examination conducted for teachers appointed in primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools under local bodies in Bihar.

Teachers who did not appear in previous phases of the Sakshamta Pariksha, remained absent, or were declared not qualified are also allowed to apply in this phase, subject to eligibility conditions.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 1100 for all categories including General, BC, EBC, EWS, SC, ST and PWD.

The fee can be paid only through online modes such as debit card, credit card, net banking and other available digital payment options.
Eligibility Criteria

Only teachers currently working in government schools under local bodies (such as Panchayat or Urban Local Bodies) in Bihar are eligible to apply.

Retired teachers or those who are no longer in service are not eligible, and candidates must also satisfy the educational and appointment conditions mentioned in the official notification.
How to Apply

Open the official portal for Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha Phase 5 exam: https://www.bsebsakshmata.com.

Click on the 'Register New Candidate' text on the homepage.

Enter your personal details such as first name, middle name, last name, valid email address, and working mobile number.

Create a strong password and remember it for future use, such as for downloading the admit card.

Tap on the 'Register' button after creating your password.

Log in by entering your registered mobile number and the password generated in the previous step.

Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha Application Form 2026 will appear once you log in.

Fill in the required details in the application form and upload necessary documents in the required format.

Pay the application fees according to your specific category.

Complete the registration after the final payment for the local body teacher is finished.
