Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
- Educational Qualification (Essential): Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in any discipline of Life Sciences or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Computational or Pharmaceutical or Agricultural or Veterinary Sciences or related disciplines; or Ph.D. in Engineering or Technology – Chemical or Biomedical or Biotechnology or Biopharma; or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in any branch of medicine from a recognised University or Institute.
- Experience: No minimum requirement.
Salary/ Stipend
- Pay Matrix Level-11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700) in 7th CPC.
- Pre-revised scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600.
Age Limit (as on closing date)
- Upper age limit: 35 years.
- Relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants.
- Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years (as per Central Government rules).
- Crucial date for age calculation: Last date of receipt of online applications.

- ₹ 2000/- (Non-refundable) for all candidates except Females, SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and Ex-servicemen.

Selection Process
- Stage 1: Computer Based Written Examination (200 marks) – 200 objective questions (100 General Aptitude + 100 Scientific), 120 minutes duration.
- Stage 2: Personal Interview (200 marks) for candidates shortlisted based on written exam merit (5 times the vacancies).
- Final merit list prepared on total marks (Written + Interview) out of 400.

- Government servants must upload NOC in prescribed format.
- Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad.
- Probation period of one year.
