• PM (DGM Level): Central/State Govt. officers holding Sr. Scale (Level-11) posts or Central/State Govt. officers with 10 years' service in Group B and holding cadre posts in Level 10 in their parent Cadre or PSU employees working in analogous grade in relevant discipline or in Rs. 70000-200000 (IDA) (E4) with four years' service in the grade.
• Essential: Should have extensive experience of C&W (Carriage & Wagon) Maintenance on IR along with Diesel and Electric Traction.
• Desirable: Should have experience of locomotive maintenance, DEMU maintenance/MEMU/EMU maintenance, crew management, disaster management & monitoring and management of wayside equipment.
• Age: Not more than 55 years. The cut-off date for age and eligibility is the closing date of the vacancy notice.
• Pay: Parent pay plus deputation allowance (and all other perks and allowances applicable as per DFCCIL policy).
• Duration: 3 years extendable to 5 years (subject to exemption by DPE from the rule of immediate absorption).

DFCCIL Recruitment 2026 Job Description

• Planning and monitoring enroute examination of IR stock and maintenance of DFC owned rolling stock in co-ordination with IR.
• Co-ordinate for safe & trouble-free working of crew on DFC network in co-ordination with IR.
• Develop and implement strategies for locomotive troubleshooting.
• Co-ordination with IR for restoration work in case of accidents, derailments or liquidation of IR stock marked sick on DFC network.
• Develop emergency response team/equipment for early restoration of traffic in case of rolling stock defect enroute.
• Planning and deployment of wayside equipment/diagnostic technologies, preferably AI driven technologies for rolling stock.
• Data analytics captured through DFIS, FMM, FOIS, SLAM, CMS to formulate and implement strategies to minimise failures and detentions of rolling stock on DFC network.
• Maintenance and calibration of EFWMBs wherever applicable.
