Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• MBBS from a recognized university/institution with valid registration under Delhi Medical Council
• Post-graduation Degree/Diploma/DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized university/institution
• Valid registration with Delhi Medical Council for the specialized field
• Should NOT have completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution (including regular and ad-hoc periods)

Alternative Qualification (If PG candidates not available)

• Minimum 3 years' experience in concerned specialty (considered on ad-hoc basis for 44 days extendable up to 3 years)

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on the date of interview (10-02-2026)
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates
• Age relaxation: 3 years for OBC candidates
• Age relaxation: 5 years extra for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD/Divyangjan) candidates

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Registration: Candidates must register at the Establishment Branch on the interview date between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Only those registered by 11:30 AM will be eligible for interview.
• Document Verification: All original certificates and testimonials will be verified during the interview.
• Personal Interview: Candidates will appear before the interview board for assessment of their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the Senior Resident position.
• Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per hospital standards.
• Certificate Verification: Final appointment subject to verification of all educational and professional certificates.

Salary/ Stipend

Initial Tenure: 44 days (with 01 day break after every 44 days)

Extension: Can be extended up to a maximum period of 3 years subject to satisfactory work and conduct report

Total Senior Residency Period: Maximum 3 years including any previous service as Senior Resident in any recognized institution

Note: Appointment will be on ad-hoc basis. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

How to Apply

• Candidates must appear for walk-in interview on 10-02-2026 (Tuesday)
• Report to the Establishment Branch, DHAS Hospital between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM for registration
• Bring all original certificates and testimonials for verification
• Bring photocopies of:
  • MBBS degree certificate and mark sheets
  • PG Degree/Diploma/DNB certificate and transcripts
  • Date of birth proof (SSC certificate or birth certificate)
  • Photo ID card (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, Driving License, etc.)
  • Address proof (utility bills, rental agreement, etc.)
• Carry two passport-size photographs (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
• Ensure registration is completed by 11:30 AM on the interview date
• Attend the interview after 11:30 AM as per the scheduled time

Important Note: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Candidates are responsible for all travel and accommodation arrangements.
