Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate degree in Homeopathy (BHMS) from recognized university
• Graduate degree in Ayurveda (BAMS) from recognized university
• Graduate in any recognized university
• At least 1-year Diploma Course in Computer (Including MS office, MS word, MS power point, MS Excel) from Govt. Registered institution.
• Secondary/Madhyamik passed with Certificate /Diploma/Degree in Yoga affiliated by the West Bengal Council of Yoga Naturopathy (WBCYN).
• The candidate must be permanent resident of West Bengal
• Working experience in Public Health Programme of Government/PSUs or reputed private organization.
• Exposure in social sector schemes /Govt mission at National, State and District level.
• Computer knowledge including MS office, MS word, MS power point, MS Excel
• Exposure in Social sector scheme /govt mission at National/State/District Level

Salary/ Stipend

• Rs. 40000/- per month (consolidated)
• Rs. 15000/- per month (consolidated)
• Rs. 8000/- for male instructor (32 session x 250/-per session)
• Rs. 5000/- for female instructor (20 session x 250/- per session)

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

• Minimum :- 21 years Maximum :- 50 years (Age is not relaxable for the post of AYUSH Medical Officer)
• Minimum :- 21 years Maximum :- 40 years
• Minimum of 21 years and Maximum of 40 years (Relaxation of age for reserved category as per norms)

• Rs. 100/- for general candidates
• Rs. 50/- for reserved category candidates

Selection Process

• Basic Qualification BHMS---85 marks (percentile)
• Experience ---15 marks (01 marks for each competed year upto 5 years and 2 marks for each completed year above 5 years totaling maximum upto 15 marks
• As per 100 percent merit and experience.
• Basic Qualification BAMS---85 marks (percentile)
• Basic Qualification Graduation ----75 marks (percentile/proportionate)
• Computer Test (Practical) ----15 marks (Minimum passing marks 50%)
• Experience 10 marks (2 marks for each completed year totaling maximum upto 10 marks)
• 1:20 candidates will be shortlisted for Computer practical test
• Secondary/Madhyamik ----------15 (Proportionate marking)
• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Yoga ------15 marks
• Demonstration ----------10 marks
• Interview ----------10 marks
• Full marks =50
• 1:5 candidates to be shortlisted as per Academic Merit i.e. out of 30

General Information / Instructions

1. Only online Applications will be accepted Application forms not properly filled in or incomplete Application forms are liable to be cancelled. If the online application details submitted by the applicant differ with the original testimonials, that application shall be liable to be cancelled.
2. If proper signature and photograph are not uploaded at the time of online application that application shall also be liable to be cancelled.
3. The Essential criteria mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential qualification must be completed on or before the first date of online application.
4. Experience will be calculated after obtaining the required essential academic qualification for the above mentioned Position, till the first date of online application.
5. Caste Certificate issued on or before the first date of online application, by the competent authorities of West Bengal only will be accepted.
6. Hard copy/print copy of the online registration form may be downloaded from the link http://hr.wbhealth.gov.in:8888/Index.aspx="Application Print" and should be retained by all the applicants for document verification purpose. Without registration form, candidates will not be entertained for original testimonials verification by the authority. No need to send Hard copy/print copy of the online registration form by post.
7. On-line registration No. should be retained by all applicants for future reference. Employer is not liable to give any information regarding the on-line registration no. in future.
8. Marking after rounding off up to 2 decimal points will be considered.
9. The online deposition of application fees can be done through net banking or credit/debit card system through an online interface. If the payment is successful, the candidate will be immediately reverted back to the link for final submission of the application form by using the application id already received at the time of Registration. Please do not deposit fee more than one time.
10. The candidates, if found ineligible at any stage of recruitment process, will not be called for the subsequent stages of the selection process.
11. The decision of the competent authorities regarding the recruitment is final.
12. The competent authorities may cancel the recruitment process at any stage of the selection process.
