How to Apply for DIAT Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications go by email to the Principal Investigator. The notice says the documents may be sent this way, as one PDF file:

  1. Get the application form. The notice says it is available on the website.
  2. Put together a brief bio-data, duly signed, along with the filled application form.
  3. Add proof of date of birth, and the BE./B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech mark sheets and degree certificates.
  4. Combine everything into a single PDF file.
  5. Email it to [email protected] with the subject "Application for JRF", on or before 6 November 2026.

Selection and Interview

Selection is through shortlisting and then an interview.

This would take into account qualifications and experience above the minimum prescribed.
  • Intimation: Shortlisted candidates will be told individually by email.
  • Interview mode: The interview will be "in-person" or "via video conferencing", whichever suits DIAT. Shortlisted candidates will be told which.
  • What to bring: The original application with all necessary educational and other supporting documents, project reports, publications etc., plus 1 (one) set of self-attested copies of each.
