Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Specialists: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university with 3 years experience after PG Degree or 5 years experience after Diploma.
• Senior Residents: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university; Non-PG with 2 years experience in the concerned department.
• Super Specialist (Cardiology): Postgraduate qualification in the concerned specialty with DM/M.Ch in Cardiology and registration with MCI/State Medical Council.

Salary / Stipend

• Specialists and Senior Residents: Emoluments on “no work no pay” basis as per Central Government rules adopted by ESIC.
• Super Specialist (Cardiology): Consolidated remuneration as per ESIC HQ orders (F.No. Z-17/11/1/2007/Med IV and U-13/14/38/2020-Med-I).

Age Limit

• Full Time/Part Time Specialists: Less than 69 years as on the date of interview.
• Senior Residents: Not exceeding 45 years with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules.
• Super Specialist (Cardiology): Age not exceeding 69 years.

Selection Process

• Selection will be through walk-in interview conducted at ESIC Hospital, Baddi.
• Preference will be given to full-time Specialists; part-time Specialists considered only if full-time Specialists are not available.
• All selections are subject to medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents.

General Information / Instructions

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining.
• Selected candidates must deposit Rs. 50,000 as security through Demand Draft in favour of ESIC Fund Account No. 1, refundable after completion of contract and production of No Dues Certificate.
• Engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any right to regular appointment or service benefits like PF, pension, gratuity, or promotion.
• Vacancies may increase or decrease depending on actual requirement and reservation is as per Central Government rules, including adjustment of PWD candidates against respective categories.
• Minimum working hours for part-time Specialists will be 16 hours per week; “No work no pay” principle will apply.
• Absence from duty for 15 days without permission will be treated as voluntary abandonment of contract.

How to Apply

• Eligible and willing candidates must report for walk-in interview with duly filled application form in the prescribed format attached to the notification.
• Candidates must bring original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies of age, qualification, category, experience, MCI/State registration, and two recent passport-size photographs.
• Candidates working in Government service must produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview.
• Documents required include age proof, MBBS and PG Degree/Diploma/DM/M.Ch certificates, caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC, EWS income and asset certificate, registration certificates, experience certificates, and disability certificate where applicable.
