Educational Qualification

The candidate must have completed 18 years and must not have crossed the applicable maximum age on the final date for submitting the application.
Local Residence Requirement
- The applicant must be an Indian woman citizen.
- She must have been a local resident for at least one year.
- For a rural Anganwadi centre, the candidate must be a resident of the revenue village in which the centre is situated.
- The candidate must submit the prescribed residence certificate issued by the concerned Mamlatdar.
- The residence certificate must not be older than six months from the advertisement date.
- The candidate must select the relevant Anganwadi centre while submitting the online application.
Gujarat Anganwadi Honorarium

These are honorary-service positions. The selected candidates will receive the honorarium prescribed for the respective post.
Selection Process
Selection will be made through a merit list prepared according to the applicable recruitment rules. The merit list will consider the candidate's educational qualification and marks.
A separate online merit list will be prepared for each Anganwadi centre. Existing Anganwadi Helpers applying for Worker posts may receive preference according to the applicable Women and Child Development Department rules.
